Quickbooks Classes, round 2

We have scheduled our Quickbooks class for May 17th - June 7th. Classes will be Monday evenings, 5-7 pm, in the Sugarhouse neighborhood in Salt Lake City. (Exact address will be provided later.)

Company Update, May 2010

Well, tax season is over and payroll taxes and sales taxes have been prepared for all of our clients, so we will have more time to blog in the near future!

QuickBooks Classes

We have scheduled our Quickbooks class for February 22nd - March 15th. Classes will be Monday evenings, 5-7 pm, at BetaLoft in downtown Salt Lake City.

Upcoming QuickBooks Training

A few weeks ago, one of our clients told us she wished Quickbooks classes were offered somewherelocally and we are happy to oblige! We would like to start holding classes as early as February or March. If you or someone you know could benefit from a class about using and customizing Quickbooks for your business, please send Alex an email with your contact information, and we will let you know when classes begin.

 I received the following news bulletin in my email today, and would like to share this important information with all our readers:
 

The Community Foundation of Utah

Today we participated in the event "Enlightened Entrepreneurs," sponsored by the Community Foundation of Utah. The purpose was to give local nonprofit organizations a chance to network and learn from entrepreneurs. I hadn't thought of myself as much of an expert, but I believe I was able to help a few people today. (You can read the twitter feed here and the official news bulletin here.)
 
The advice I gave tended to fall into two categories: bookkeeping practices and social networking. Here's a summary.

Company News, December 2009

We have a few announcements to make.
 
First, thank you to all who applied for the bookkeeping position. We enjoyed the interviews immensely, and look forward to next time.
 
Second, welcome to our new bookkeeper, Shantel! You can read about her on our About Page. She joined us a week ago, and so far her work has been excellent.
 
Third, our free Quickbooks setup/audit program has been a success so far. We didn't make any money (that wasn't our intent), but we formed some great new relationships, and I scored some really wonderful soap
